His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and captain of the Royal Endurance Team, attended the veterinary inspection for the World Endurance Championship. Shaikh Nasser will helm the Royal Endurance Team in the upcoming championship, riding the horse Everest la Majorie. He will be joined by fellow jockeys His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa on Fizz Fageole, Jaafar Mirza on Bolt de Venelles, Othman Al Awadhi on Ermine Dartagnan, and Salman Isa on Elmer de Bozouls. Reserve jockeys include Sarhan Hameed on Be Goode and Hamad Isa on Deese la Majorie. The inspection took place at the championship village in Monpazier, France, in preparation for the 160 km race scheduled for Saturday, which will feature 145 jockeys from 39 countries.
