Emirates launched its first Airbus A350 service from Dubai to Edinburgh yesterday, marking the start of operations for its newest aircraft type. The A350 is the first of 65 aircraft set to join the airline’s fleet. The inaugural flight represents Emirates’ commitment to the UK market, according to Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer Adnan Kazim, a statement by the Dubai Media Office said. As we continue to expand our A350 fleet, we’re not just adding new aircraft – we’re setting new standards for global air travel,” said Kazim.
