ALGIERS — The Speaker of the People’s National Assembly (Parliament’s lower house), Brahim Boughali, affirmed Monday on the eve of the celebration of the National Mujaheed Day marking the dual anniversary of the North Constantinois offensive and the Soummam Congress (20 August 1955 – 20 August 1956) that these two events “link Algeria’s past to its present.”
