RND supports Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s candidature for Algeria’s interest

BOUIRA-The National Democratic Rally (RND) supports the independent candidate, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, for the presidential election of 7 September, for the interest of Algeria and to enable him to continue his achievements through an ambitious program focused on far-reaching projects, the RND’s Secretary General, Mustapha Yahi, said on Wednesday in Bouira.

In a speech he gave at the Ali Zaamoum arts center in Bouira, on the 7th day of the campaign, Yahi said that his party's support for the candidacy of Abdelmadjid Tebboune is not a coincidence, as “he was behind several tangible socio-economic accomplishments and gains during his previous term, including the unemployment benefit program and salary increases.”

In this regard, he underscored the achievements and decisions made by Abdelmadjid Tebboune during his first term aimed at strengthening the national economy through “courageous decisions” which focus on “combating corruption, supporting businesses, and assisting vulnerable social groups,” he said.

RND’s Secretary General also showcased a certain number of projects, initiated by Abdelmadjid Tebboune, that aim to diversify the national economy, through agricultural investment initiatives launched in the country's southern regions, as well as the railway project connecting Bechar, Adrar, and Gara Djebilet.

The independent candidate Abdelmadjid Tebboune “is a man who has achieved a lot despite all the constraints he had during his first term, and he intends to execute more projects for the interest of the country such as digitization, as well as the strengthening of domestic and foreign trade through the creation of free zones with neighbouring countries and in Africa,” Yahi emphasized.
