Speaking at a meeting with representatives of associations and national organizations at Algeria cinema on the 8^th day of the 7 September election campaign, Merad recalled that Abdelmadjid Tebboune “runs for this election in response to the call of citizens, political parties, association and national figures.”

During his first presidential term, Abdelmadjid Tebboune “made several achievements and implemented large-scale projects in several sectors, fulfilling his commitments towards citizens despite a difficult situation during the Covid-19 pandemic,” he recalled.

After recalling that the 2020 Constitution provided for the creation of several institutions, Merad assured that independent candidate Abdelmadjid Tebboune “believes in noble collective action,” hence the priority “he attaches to the organization of civil society.”  

“Citizens are at the heart of the program of Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s as he knows their concerns throughout the country,” he said.

Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s campaign director cited “the improvement of the living environment of citizens, who are urged to contribute, alongside State institutions, to defending “the country” and “reviewing the country’s administrative division to involve citizens in decision-making.”  

He also assured that Algeria will address the challenge and triumph through “mobilization and massive vote for independent candidate Abdelmadjid Tebboune on 7 September.”

After this meeting, Merad and his team hosted a local activity at Grande Poste of Algiers (Algiers Central Post Office), where they explained the program of independent candidate, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.[/ecr]
