Independent candidate Abdelmadjid Tebboune to strive for modern State

AIN DEFLA — The campaign director of the independent candidate Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Brahim Merad, affirmed Friday in Ain Defla province that if re-elected for a second term in the September 7 Presidential election, Abdelmadjid Tebboune will strive to establish a modern State that meets citizens’ expectations.

During a local meeting with citizens at the “February 24” public square in Miliana, on day nine of the electoral campaign for the upcoming presidential election, Merad said that “if re-elected for a second term, Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s policy will rely on backing the economy to establish a modern State that meets citizens’ expectations.”

Independent candidate Abdelmadjid Tebboune “will also strive to build a State with a strong international voice,” affirmed Merad, noting Algeria’s recent support for Lebanon by providing necessary quantities of fuel to restart its power plants.

He said that “these brave positions of Abdelmadjid Tebboune compel us to support him and stand by his side,” also noting his commitment to “ensure balanced development across all regions of the country to improve access for all populations.”

Regarding youth, Merad recalled “the significant importance” Abdelmadjid Tebboune has given to this group by enabling their participation in political life, particularly in elected people’s assemblies.”

He further highlighted “the key achievements made during his first presidential term in several areas.”

The campaign director of the independent candidate Abdelmadjid Tebboune will chair other local activities this afternoon in the provinces of Chlef, Relizane and Mostaganem.
