Presidential election: Youcef Aouchiche commits to strengthening State’s social character

MILA-The candidate of the Socialist Forces Front (FFS) for the presidential election of 7 September, Youcef Aouchiche, reaffirmed Wednesday in Mila his commitment, if elected President of the Republic, to strengthen the social character of the State and to support vulnerable groups.

In a statement to the press during a local activity in Mila province, as part of the election campaign, Aouchiche said that his party “is committed to the social character of the State” and that, if elected President of the Republic, he would “strengthen the social achievements and support vulnerable groups.”

He said that his election program “Vision for Tomorrow” includes “an integrated project offering realistic solutions to the concerns of the Algerian citizens, particularly in the social sphere," underscoring "the revision of the wage scale and the institution of allowances.”

Aouchiche urged the intellectual elite to engage in the process of building Algeria, calling citizens to “participate massively” in the presidential election in order to choose the suitable program for them.
