Presidential election: September 7 is “historic step” for Algeria

BOUIRA-The September 7 presidential election is a “historic step” for the country as “it will enable Algeria to continue its course of development and modernization,” said Fatah Boutbig, President of El Moustakbal Front in Bouira on Saturday.

Speaking at a rally held at Ali-Zaamoum culture house, the President of El Moustakbal Front said that this election had a special cachet because it had come “to deepen the socio-economic reforms the country has been undergoing since the election of Abdelmadjid Tebboune in 2019”.

“We support the independent candidate Abdelmadjid Tebboune because he is the man who worked to restore calm after the blessed Hirak, and he has assumed his responsibility with honor in a difficult conjuncture marked by crises,” Boutbig told a packed audience.

He cited the various projects and achievements Algeria has seen during Abdelmadjid Tebboune's first term of office and the decisions taken for the benefit of the unemployed, young people, businesses and vulnerable social categories.

“The independent candidate Abdelmadjid Tebboune will consolidate the authority of the State and its institutions, and pursue development,” stressed the President of El Moustakbal Front.

Algeria will undergo major technological, industrial and socio-economic changes in the years to come under the digitization underway and other large-scale projects such as the creation of industrial zones and free trade zones,” he assured.

After Bouira, Boutbig is to hold a second meeting in Tizi Ouzou.
