Hassani Cherif commits to launching development projects in southern regions

DJANET- The candidate of the Movement of the Society for Peace (MSP) for the September 7 presidential election, Abdelaali Hassani Cherif, committed Wednesday, in the province of Djanet, to boosting development in the southern regions and to launching projects likely to meet their inhabitants’ aspirations.

Holding a meeting at “Tassili” movie theatre, on the 14th day of the electoral campaign, Hassani Cherif committed, if elected president of the Republic, to launching economic projects likely to “improve the inhabitants’ living conditions and create jobs for young people.”

He emphasized the touristic assets of this new province, including its sites which attract tourists from inside and outside the country.

He underlined that his program aimed to relaunch the agricultural sector, by “encouraging the investment in this field to achieve food self-sufficiency, the investment in manufacturing industries and mining prospecting, the creation of subcontracting companies and the encouragement of young people to create small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in various fields.”

Hassani called on the citizens to “go massively to the polls to contribute to the establishment of the foundations of democracy and to cast their ballots for him.”
