Voting for independent candidate Abdelmadjid Tebboune to back development dynamic

CONSTANTINE — Brahim Merad, campaign director of the independent candidate for the upcoming September 7 presidential election, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, urged on Monday in Souk Ahras and Guelma provinces voters to cast their ballots for Mr. Tebboune to back the development dynamic that the country is witnessing.

During a popular rally at the "Miloud Tahri" conference hall in Souk Ahras, on day 19 of the electoral campaign, Merad highlighted that the program of the independent candidate, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, includes key points aimed at developing rural, border and remote regions of the country and improving citizens’ living conditions in isolated localities.

He added that a strong voter turnout in favor of the independent candidate, Abdelmadjid Tebboune “will pave the way for building on the achievements of his first term, with a special emphasis on the youth who feature prominently in his electoral program.”

In Guelma, Merad said at a popular rally held at the "M'hamedi Youcef" youth center that “electing the independent candidate, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, will bolster the country’s development dynamic and set Algeria on a firm footing.”

He recalled that Mr. Tebboune managed during his first presidential term to “establish a solid foundation for Algeria and to address the development shortcomings that were recorded in many regions of the country. Also, remote regions and underdeveloped areas have benefited from the opening of roads and the implementation of drinking water networks, street lighting and natural gas supply for rural and mountain communities.”

He further said that “if reelected, the independent candidate, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, will strive during the upcoming term to continue his program of balanced development across regions, including Guelma province which will benefit from a special program.”

In both provinces, Merad reiterated his call for a strong turnout at the polls on September 7 and urged to vote in favor of the independent candidate, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
