Presidential election: Voter turnout at 5.00 p.m. reaches 26.45% in Algeria, 18.31% abroad

ALGIERS-The national voter turnout in the presidential election reached 26.45% at 5.00 p.m., and 18.31% abroad, announced Saturday the President of the National Independent Authority for Elections (ANIE), Mohamed Charfi.

The three candidates running for this election are Youcef Aouchiche of the Socialist Forces Front (FFS), independent candidate Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and Abdelaali Hassani Cherif of the Movement of Society for Peace (MSP).
