ALGIERS-Several political parties congratulated Sunday Abdelmadjid Tebboune on his re-election as President of the Republic for a new term with 94.65% of ballots.

The National Liberation Front (FLN) party affirmed that the Algerian people had renewed their confidence in Abdelmadjid Tebboune to “continue building a State with a strong army, security forces and a developed economy.”

Highlighting the serene conditions and atmosphere that marked the presidential election, the FLN recalled “the fine image given by Algerians during their participation in this democratic process.”

The Algerian people had once again demonstrated a “high level of political awareness and responded to those who had bet on the failure of the presidential election,” said the party.

For its part, the Front El Moustakbal party welcomed the success of this election, which constitutes “a historic moment and a decisive turning point in the homeland's path towards prosperity and stability.”

“The precious trust placed once again by the Algerian people in their President affirms the nation's aspirations for far-sighted governance, committed to realizing national ambitions and enshrining the foundations of democracy and progress, said the source.

For his part, Abdelkader Bengrina, President of the El-Bina Movement expressed his party's satisfaction with the climate in which the presidential election took place, marked by “serenity and total stability, with any tension.”

The Movement also highlighted Algeria's success in organizing this pluralist election, which it described as “an important democratic achievement for the country.”
