ALGIERS — The President of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP), Fortune Charumbira, sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on his re-election for a second term.

“It is with immense joy that I address to you, Mr. President, on behalf of the members of the bureau of the Pan-African Parliament, all of its members and myself personally, my warm congratulations and my best wishes on your deserved victory for a second term,” Charumbira wrote in his congratulatory message.

This re-election for a second presidential term “mirrors the trust Algerian citizens have placed in you, fully convinced of your achievements for your people and your country. These achievements contribute to strengthening the process of development and progress, serving the well-being of the Algerian people, in line with your commitments to serve your dear homeland,” emphasized the President of the PAP.

“While aware of the task's challenges, we in the Pan-African Parliament remain confident that you can fully carry out your mission and guide your country's future in service of the Algerian people, thanks to your unwavering determination,” Charumbira added.

The message wrapped up by affirming that the Pan-African Parliament, which strives to fulfill its role in Africa, remains “ready to contribute to the integration and development of the continent” and aims for “strong relations with the two chambers of the Algerian Parliament and all African Union bodies to achieve the expected objective: prosperity for our peoples and stability, security and peace for Africa.”
