Jordan’s King extends congratulations to President Tebboune on his re-election

ALGIERS- The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received a phone call from his brother the King Abdullah II, the sovereign of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, to congratulate his on his re-election for a second term, the Presidency of the Republic said Wednesday in a statement.

“The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received a phone call from his brother Abdullah II, sovereign of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, a brotherly country, during which he presented his warm congratulations for the re-election, by the Algerian people, of His Excellency President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, wishing him and the Algerian people more well-being and prosperity," said the statement.

For his part, "the President of the Republic expressed his deep esteem to his brother, His Majesty the King of Jordan, emphasizing his willingness to continue working together to strengthen bilateral relations and serve the causes of the Nation," added the source.
