ALGIERS — The President of Niger's National Council for the Safeguard of the Homeland, Abdourahamane Tiani, sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on the occasion of his re-election for a second term, the Presidency of the Republic said on Thursday in a statement.

“The President of the National Council for the Safeguard of the Homeland of the State of Niger, Abdourahamane Tiani, addressed a message of congratulations to the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, congratulating him on the renewed trust placed in him by the Algerian people for the Presidency of the Republic, describing this re-election as a popular recognition of the great achievements he accomplished during his first term,” the same source noted.

Abdourahamane Tiani also applauded “the strong bilateral relations between Algeria and Niger, which facilitate work on major projects of great importance to both countries,” the statement concluded.
