After the opening of the session by Goudjil, and regarding the 2025 Finance Bill, the Bureau of the Council of the Nation affirmed that " this text is mainly based on the preservation of the citizens’ purchasing power."

In this regard, Goudjil "encouraged the presidents of the parliamentary groups, and through them, the members of the Council, to favor a political reading of the content of the 2025 Finance Law, with a national dimension that is in line with the importance of this Finance Law, the most significant and important since the recovery of the national sovereignty, in terms of allocated budgetary credits, level of ambition and the objectives set in the context of strengthening and increasing the independence of the national political decision, backed by an effective independence of the national economic decision".

The expanded Bureau of the Council of the Nation, on the occasion of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the glorious epic of November 1, 1954, expresses on behalf of its members, its "deep gratitude to the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Commander-in-Chief  of the Armed Forces, Minister of the National Defense, for the attention he pays to national events and anniversaries that perpetuate the collective memory of the nation, and extends its sincere congratulations to all citizens on the occasion of this major event, wishing for Algeria more prosperity and stability".
