President of South Africa pays tribute to memory of glorious Liberation War martyrs

ALGIERS- South Africa’s President, Cyril Ramaphosa, on Friday paid tribute to the memory of the martyrs of the Glorious National Libération War, at the Martyrs Memorial in Algiers.

South Africa’s President laid a wreath at the commemorative stele and observed a minute’s silence in the memory of the martyrs of the Revolution of 1 November 1954.

Algeria's guest also visited the National Mujaheed Museum, where he received comprehensive explanations about the different stages of Algeria's history, particularly the glorious National Liberation War.

President Cyril Ramaphosa arrived Thursday evening in Algiers for a state visit at the invitation of his brother, President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune. [/ecr]
