President of the Republic receives New Ambassador of Malaysia

ALGIERS– President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received on Wednesday, Rizany Irwan Muhamad Mazlan, who handed him the credentials accrediting him as the new ambassador of Malaysia to Algeria.

[ecr] "I am mandated to develop bilateral relations between Algeria and Malaysia, and we will work towards a win-win partnership, particularly in the fields of energy transition, education, and industrial development," said the Malaysian ambassador at the end of the ceremony of presenting his credentials to President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune."

He said that he discussed with the President of the Republic "matters of common interest between our two brotherly countries."

"Promoting trade and investment will be priority areas in the coming years," he said in this regard.  

On this occasion, he expressed his willingness to work towards "integrated sustainable development in the fields of energy and green economy."

Referring to the 60th anniversary of the establishment of relations between Algeria and Malaysia, the ambassador expressed his "deep gratitude" to President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs for their "commitment to strengthening relations between the two countries."
