ALGIERS-The President of the Constitutional Court, Omar Belhadj, received on Wednesday at the Court’s headquarters, the President of the Supreme Court of Mauritania, Cheikh Ahmed Ould Sid'Ahmed, who paid him a courtesy visit with his accompanying delegation.

During this meeting, which was attended by members of the Constitutional Court, both parties hailed “the depth of relations uniting the two brotherly countries, Government and peoples, as well as the high level of bilateral cooperation.”

In this regard, they also reviewed “the means and prospects of strengthening this cooperation in various fields, particularly that of constitutional justice.”

At the end of the meeting, the two parties reaffirmed their commitment to “intensifying efforts to further strengthen cooperation relations and the exchange of knowledge and expertise between Algeria and Mauritania in various fields, especially in constitutional justice.”
