One of the most significant manifestations of the commemorative celebrations was the grand military parade, supervised by the President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in the presence of Algeria’s guests, including leaders and heads of State from brotherly and friendly countries. A parade that impressed with its remarkable precision reflecting the power and professionalism of the People’s National Army, a worthy heir to the National Liberation Army (ALN), which broke the colonial yoke and raised the Algerian flag.

The President of the Republic emphasized his commitment to ensuring that this military parade would be worthy of both the scale and symbolism of the 70th anniversary of the Revolution’s outbreak, as well as the sacrifices of its Mujahedeen.

He also insisted on the imperative for this event to reflect the sacred bond of cohesion between the people and their Army.

“The commemoration of this memorable anniversary embodying glory, dignity and pride is an occasion to remember that Algeria, which triumphed over colonialism, continues to achieve victories with full confidence thanks to its children faithful to the message of the valiant Martyrs,” the President of the Republic affirmed.
