“In addition to discussing joint cooperation between Algeria and Uganda, this meeting discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and establish new partnerships that serve the mutual interests of both countries,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs said in a press release.

The meeting also enabled to “address key African issues, including developments of the security situation in Africa, enhancing continental complementarity, and reforming AU institutions.”

During this occasion, Mansouri reaffirmed “Algeria’s commitment, under the leadership of President Tebboune, to enhance cooperation with fellow African countries, mirroring Algeria’s dedication to supporting African solidarity and promoting sustainable development and stability across the continent.”
