Chaib received by President of Sierra Leone

ALGIERS-The Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of the National Community Abroad, Sofiane Chaib, was received on Thursday by the President of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio, as part of his official visit as special envoy of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs said in a press release.

During this meeting, “the Secretary of State delivered a letter from the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to his Sierra Leonean counterpart, conveying his sincere fraternal greetings and shared aspirations to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and cooperation between the two countries and raise them to the highest levels in the common interest of both parties,” said the press release.

These talks also provided “an opportunity to exchange views on various aspects of relations between Algeria and Sierra Leone, as well as ways to strengthen them to promote bilateral cooperation in various fields.”

The two parties discussed “the main issues on continental and international levels,” while reaffirming “the importance of strengthening coordination and consultation between the two countries,” added the press release.
