Foreign Affairs Ministry’s Civil status department to provide services every Saturday as of January 11th

ALGIERS-The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs announced Thursday in a statement that the civil status department will provide its services every Saturday as from January 11^th, in implementation of the President of the Republic’s directives to better address the citizens’ needs.

“In implementation of the President of the Republic’s directives to better address the citizens’ needs, and in accordance with the guidelines of the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs all citizens that the civil status department will provide its services every Saturday as of 11 January 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM,” said the press release.

The ministry noted that “this day will be exclusively dedicated to services for extraction of civil status documents and legalizing documents intended for use abroad.”
