“In application of the high instructions of the President of the Republic, related to fully addressing the concerns of members of the national community abroad, and to facilitate their procedures for entering the national territory and returning to their usual residences, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs our citizens established abroad and holding valid foreign passports that they are authorized, exceptionally and until 31 December 2025, to enter and exit the national territory without prior obtaining of a visa, subject to using the same documents at entry and exit, and this in two cases,” said the press release.

These two cases include: “the presentation of a valid foreign passport accompanied by an electronic biometric national identity card, even if it has expired,” or “the presentation of a valid foreign passport with a biometric Algerian passport, even if the latter has expired,” concluded the press release.
