In this regard, both parties discussed “existing media cooperation agreements between Algeria and Cuba, including the 2023 agreement signed between Algeria Press Service and its Cuban counterpart — which is pending activation — to facilitate news and media content exchange.”

They also discussed “the 2023 agreement between the Public Television Establishment and its Cuban counterpart,” noting that arrangements are complete for an upcoming agreement between the Algerian Public Radio Establishment and its Cuban counterpart.”

The meeting concluded with both sides agreeing to “jointly strengthen bilateral media relations between the two countries for a more promising future,” the source added.
