In a statement following his audience with the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the MSP president said that this meeting was “an opportunity to consult, discuss and exchange views on various national and international issues.”

He noted that the current circumstances make it essential to “communicate to strengthen the internal national front.”

He underscored “the need for all parties to find common ground,” especially given the current climate where “Algeria faces external targeting.”

Describing the meeting between the MSP delegation and President Tebboune as “fruitful,” Hassani Cherif said that such meetings would “enable the political class to unite in defending national interests.”

The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss “developments in the Palestinian and Sahrawi questions” and to reaffirm “Algeria's unwavering support for just causes,” he added.
