“We stand with Algeria in its efforts to fully play its role in international and regional affairs,” said Dong Guangli after presenting his credentials to the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
He also expressed his honor to represent China in Algeria, describing it as “a brotherly and friendly country with which China maintains a historical and revolutionary relation.”
The ambassador further pledged his commitment to “work tirelessly to implement the major directives defined by the Presidents of both countries.”
“I will spare no effort in fulfilling my mission,” he added, noting the importance of “strengthening political trust and boosting economic and commercial cooperation, particularly in investment.”
Guangli stressed the need to increase Chinese investments in Algeria while diversifying cultural and human exchanges to “bolster the bonds of friendship between the two peoples.”
“China and Algeria share a common past, and we are pleased to see that, under the insightful and forward-thinking leadership of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Algeria has found a path of development that aligns with its realities,” he said.
He mentioned the ongoing modernization in China, while emphasizing the importance of the “New Algeria” within the framework of bilateral cooperation.
