In a statement following his audience with President Tebboune, Aouchiche stated: “During this meeting, we emphasized what we view as fundamental principles—that the most effective way to strengthen our State and consolidate our national security lies in building a strong national front, one that prioritizes political solutions in managing public affairs.”

The meeting was held as part of “reviewing the overall national political situation” and “exchanging views on these matters,” he said.

Aouchiche underscored that it occurs “against a backdrop of unprecedented geopolitical shifts both internationally and regionally, along with increasing threats and provocations against our country.”

In this regard, Aouchiche reaffirmed the FFS's firm stance against any meddling in Algeria's domestic affairs. “Our international relations must be based on equal terms and must uphold the sanctity of our national sovereignty,” he noted.

He added that his meeting with the President of the Republic facilitated “a productive, candid and responsible discussion, where we underscored the need for a comprehensive political reform approach. Such an approach would bring about change through political openness, strengthening democracy and achieving sustainable economic development and social prosperity.”
