Communication Minister received by Lesotho's PM as Special Envoy of the President

ALGIERS– In his capacity as Special Envoy of President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Minister of Communication, Mohamed Meziane, was received in Maseru (Lesotho) by Prime Minister Sam Matekane, according to a statement issued by the Ministry on Wednesday.

[ecr] During the meeting, Meziane handed the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Lesotho "a handwritten letter from President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, conveying his fraternal greetings and aspirations to strengthen brotherly relations and cooperation with the Kingdom of Lesotho, and to develop opportunities of partnership in order to promote the common interests of both countries," the soource said. 

Discussions, attended by Minister of Social Development, Putsoa Leasoana, provided an opportunity to "exchange views on various aspects of bilateral cooperation to achieve the aspirations of both countries at both regional and international levels."

This meeting was "an opportunity to address challenges and major issues on the agenda of the African Union (AU)," the source concluded. [/ecr]
