As special envoy of President Tebboune, Minister of Communication received in Windhoek by Namibian President

ALGIERS-In his capacity as special envoy of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Minister of Communication, Mohamed Meziane, was received on Thursday in Windhoek by the President of Namibia, Nangolo Mbumba, the ministry said in a press release.

In this respect, the Minister of Communication delivered to President Nangolo Mbumba, a letter from President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in which he “extended his most sincere fraternal greetings and expressed his willingness to boost cooperation and partnership relations between the two countries, so as to raise the level of the historical relations that unite them in service of common interests,” said the same source.

This meeting was “an opportunity to review the various dimensions of privileged bilateral relations and to examine ways to promote them in various fields, with a view to supporting cooperation at regional and international levels, particularly regarding the UN reform file,” added the press release.

The two parties also addressed “priority issues on the African Union agenda,” emphasizing “the importance of coordination and strengthening consultation mechanisms as part of common continental action,” concluded the same source.
