This meeting was an opportunity to review the state and prospects of the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries and to examine ways to continue coordination regarding support for just causes in the world, said the same source, adding that the talks also allowed for reaffirming Algeria’s commitment, in its capacity as a Security Council member, to support efforts for implementing the 2016 Colombian Peace Agreement.
The Minister of State also met with the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Panama, Carlos Ruiz-Hernandez, with whom he discussed several issues related to consolidating bilateral relations and strengthening coordination between the two countries at the Security Council during their terms as non-permanent members of this UN body, concluded the press release.
