Speaking to the press following the audience granted to him and his accompanying delegation by the President of the Republic, Boutbig stated that the meeting was “an opportunity to hear Mr. President’s vision regarding the major changes Algeria is experiencing and the challenges that accompany them both internally and externally,” noting that “he presented to the President of the Republic his party’s concerns.”

In this regard, the same official noted that his party “is convinced of the reform ideas initiated by the President of the Republic since his election to the office,” calling on the Algerian people, all components included, to “adhere to these ideas and the positive dynamic that Algeria is experiencing, while enshrining the reforms that will lead Algeria to safe harbour.”

Boutbig also welcomed “the openness and interaction of the President of the Republic with the political class and civil society actors,” emphasizing that the President “is aware of the smallest details of the files under discussion.”
