29th edition of November 1st, 1954 Prize: Mujahedeen Ministry honors winners

ALGIERS — The Ministry of Mujahedeen and Rights Holders organized on Thursday at the Circle of the People's National Army (PNA) site in Algiers a ceremony to honor the winners of the 29th edition of the November 1st, 1954 Prize, as part of the 70th-anniversary commemorations of the launch of the glorious Liberation Revolution.

The ceremony took place in the presence of numerous Government members, representatives of various institutions and civil society organizations and the revolutionary family, in addition to national personalities and mujahideen.

In his speech on this occasion, the Minister of Mujahideen and Rights Holders, Laïd Rebiga, underscored the interest given by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to the history and memory of the nation, describing these as “urgent priorities.”

He noted that “President Tebboune has continuously reaffirmed the role of memory in bolstering the foundations of belonging to our nation (...) in order to establish the necessary conditions to protect future generations.”
