Attaf receives phone call from Turkish counterpart

ALGIERS — The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, of the National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, received on Wednesday a phone call from the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, as per a ministry statement.

The phone conversation enabled the two parties to discuss the Algerian-Turkish partnership ahead of holding the 3rd session of the mixed planning commission, the same source said.

The two ministers also discussed developments in the situation in the Middle East and the efforts to consolidate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, the statement said.
