President Tebboune receives phone call from Czech counterpart

ALGIERS-The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received on Thursday a phone call from the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, during which they discussed ways to boost bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on regional and international developments, the Presidency of the Republic said in a press release.

During this phone call, the two Presidents discussed “ways to revive cooperation between the two countries, particularly in areas of economic and military cooperation and business meetings.”

“Discussing regional and international developments, the two Presidents had a convergence of views regarding the Palestinian cause and the two-State solution.” They additionally expressed “their shared hopes for stability and progress for the brotherly Syrian people,” according to the same source.

In this respect, “the President of the Republic reiterated his invitation to his Czech counterpart to visit Algeria, which was accepted,” emphasizing that “this visit will be an opportunity to hold the Algerian-Czech joint commission and will allow examining ways to advance all matters of interest to both countries,” said the press release.
