EL KEF (Tunisia)-The Prime Minister, Nadir Larbaoui, arrived Saturday in El Kef (Tunisia), to co-chair with his Tunisian counterpart, Kamel Madouri, the commemoration ceremony of the 67th anniversary of Sakiet Sidi Youssef events.

The Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation were welcomed at the border post of the Sakiet Sidi Youcef Delegation by the Tunisian Prime Minister, who was accompanied by a large ministerial delegation.

Besides chairing the ceremonies commemorating the 67th anniversary of Sakiet Sidi Youcef events, which constitutes “an opportunity to recall the sacrifices and common struggle of the Algerian and Tunisian peoples against French colonialism to recover freedom and dignity,” Larbaoui and Madouri will hold talks on the reality and prospects for developing bilateral relations, and will discuss ways to strengthen them in accordance with the common vision of the two countries’ leaders, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and the President of the Tunisian Republic, Kaïs Saïed, aiming to achieve an efficient strategic partnership between the two countries.

Larbaoui is accompanied in his visit by the Minister of Interior, Local Authorities and National Planning, Brahim Merad, the Minister of Mujahideen and Rights-holders, Laïd Rebiga, and the Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of the National Community Abroad, Sofiane Chaib.

The Tunisian Prime Minister is accompanied, for his part, by a delegation composed of the Minister of Interior, Khaled Nouri, and the Prime Minister’s advisor for diplomatic affairs, Riadh Essid.
