67th anniversary of Sakiet Sidi Youcef Events: PM chairs commemoration ceremony

EL KEF (Tunisia)-Commissioned by the president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Prime Minister, Nadir Larbaoui co-chaired on Saturday with his Tunisian counterpart, Kamel Madouri, the commemoration ceremony of the 67th anniversary of the events of Sakiet Sidi Youssef.

The ceremony was attended by a ministerial high-level delegation, local officials from both countries and representatives of the revolutionary family.

The Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation were welcomed at the border post of the Sakiet Sidi Youcef Delegation by the Tunisian Prime Minister.

 

The two parties then held a bilateral meeting at the headquarters of the Sakiet Sidi Youssef municipality, where they reviewed the exceptional relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields, in accordance with the strategic vision of the two countries’ leaders, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and his brother, President Kaïs Saïed.

The Prime Minister and his Tunisian counterpart, accompanied by delegations from both countries, then headed to the memorial stele of the Sakiet Sidi Youssef events, where they recited the Fatiha of the Quran in memory of the martyrs of the bombing of this village by the French colonizer on 8 February 1958.
