Attaf arrives in Beirut for official visit to Lebanon

ALGIERS-As special envoy of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, arrived on Saturday afternoon in Beirut, for an official visit to the brotherly Lebanese Republic, the ministry said in a press release.

This visit aims to “strengthen the fraternal relations and cooperation between the two brotherly countries and examine ways to promote them to higher levels, as well as to renew Algeria’s solidarity and reaffirm its full support to Lebanon, a brotherly country, in its efforts to begin a new era of its history, to consolidate its unity and sovereignty, and thus achieve its people’s aspirations for security, stability, development and prosperity,” emphasized the same source.

“During this visit, the Minister of State will be received by the President of Lebanon, Joseph Aoun, to whom he will deliver a letter from his brother, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune,” according to the same source.

Attaf will also have bilateral meetings with several senior officials of the Lebanese Republic,” concluded the press release.
