“On the seventh day of his official visit to the Republic of India, Minister delegate to the Minister of National Defence and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (PNA), participated today, Tuesday 11 February 2025, in the Defence Ministers’ conclave,” said the same source.
During this conclave, General Chanegriha delivered an address where “he thanked the Indian authorities for the kind invitation extended to him to take part in this high-level conclave,” while praising “the sincere will of the Republic of India to consolidate its relations with its partners and friends.”
“I would like to begin by expressing my gratitude for the invitation to participate in the 2025 Defence Ministers’ conclave, themed “Building Resilience through International Defence and Global Engagement (BRIDGE),” I trust this gathering will prove valuable and productive for all attendees.”
“Indeed, this conclave, which addresses a theme of major importance, reflects the firm will of the Republic of India to consolidate its relations with its friends and partners. It also constitutes an opportunity for dialogue and exchange of viewpoints and prospective visions on subjects related to global security,” he added.
The General affirmed that “the security challenges facing today’s world require us all to strengthen multilateral cooperation and combine efforts to build a safer, more stable, and more prosperous world.”

General Saïd Chanegriha, Minister delegate to the Minister of National Defence and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (PNA), met with Army General Anil Chauhan, Chief of Defence Staff of India.
This second meeting between the High Command of both countries “demonstrates the mutual interest in strengthening bilateral relations and expanding areas of cooperation.”
In this respect, the General expressed to his Indian counterpart “his deep gratitude for the warm welcome extended to him during this visit,” affirming that “it constitutes an opportunity to establish military cooperation between the two countries.”
