The audience, held in the Palace of the Government, was "an opportunity to highlight the depth of the historical relations between Algeria and China, and reiterate the common desire of the two sides to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields, mainly through the implementation of the important results of the State visit made by the president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to China in July 2023," the statement said.

The two sides broached "the various aspects of cooperation and partnership between the two countries, mainly infrastructure and economic facility projects."

They also explored the ways to "diversify and enrich the economic content of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, especially in terms of investment," the statement added.
