Trilateral meeting Algeria-Tunisia-Libya in Cairo

ALGIERS- A trilateral meeting Algeria-Tunisia-Libya has brought together the minister of State, minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, Tunisia's minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, and Libya's minister in charge of running the ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, shortly before the opening of the extraordinary Arab Summit in Cairo, the ministry said Tuesday in a statement.

The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the progress made in the implementation of the outcome of the Algeria-Tunisia-Libya Summit, held in April 2024 in Tunis, the statement said.

The three ministers also tackled the preparations relating to the organization of the next trilateral summit, to be held in Tripoli, Libya, "and agreed on the main stages and provisions to ensure the success of this significant event," the statement concluded.
