“Following the severe earthquake that struck Myanmar today, resulting in numerous casualties and extensive property damage, Algeria expresses its full solidarity and sympathy with the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and offers its heartfelt condolences and compassion to the victims’ families, while wishing a swift recovery to those injured,” the statement said.

“This catastrophe reminds us of the need to uphold values of solidarity and human unity, as well as the importance of backing the friendly people of Myanmar in overcoming this difficult ordeal by providing all forms of humanitarian aid and participating in relief efforts to ease the suffering of those affected,” the same source concluded.
