According to a press release from public startup gas pedal Algeria Venture, initiator of the ASEP program, “participants will make 18 stops throughout their 15-day stay to discover leading technology hubs, interact with innovation leaders, share experiences with their international counterparts, and explore strategic collaborations with local and global companies.”

The ASEP program, organized under the aegis of the Presidency of the Republic, the supervision of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Startups and Micro-enterprises, and implementation of Algeria Venture, globally targets 450 Algerian startups that will benefit from a stay in China, the USA and South Korea, i.e. 150 per destination.

Through these expeditions, ASEP offers beneficiary startups “a unique platform to access international markets, develop strategic partnerships, and stimulate their growth on a global scale. This program not only prepares startups for the international stage as leading players in tomorrow's economy.”

The ultimate aim of the program is to “propel Algerian startups onto the international stage and immerse them in world-class innovation environments, enabling them to benefit from the expertise, resources and opportunities offered by global technology giants.”

“These visits will offer startups a global perspective, enabling them to draw inspiration from international best practices, through the most advanced innovation ecosystems,” said Algeria Venture's Managing Director, Sidali Zerrouki, quoted in the release.

According to him, each stage of the program will enable entrepreneurs to “enrich their understanding of global dynamics, forge strategic partnerships and integrate innovative ideas into their development.”

Startups wishing to take part in future expeditions scheduled over the coming months should register via the program's official website: www.asep.dz.
