The Group said that the spare parts in question were manufactured by its industrial subsidiary, namely the Algerian Company for Electrical and Gas Industries (SAIEG), emphasizing that the manufacturing process took place at the El Eulma unit.

This operation is part of, according to the Group, the implementation of instructions of the country's top authorities aimed at gradually moving away from dependence on hydrocarbons, by diversifying the economic and commercial activities and promoting national products.

This export operation follows the shipment, last week, of a cargo from the SAIEG's electric vehicle charging station factory for the export of 433 charging stations, manufactured at the same unit, according to the same source.

In this regard, the Group reported the signing, through its subsidiary SAIEG, of several contracts and agreements for the export of various types of electrical equipment and spare parts to the foreign market, after having achieved self-sufficiency at the national market level, concluded the statement.
