Electronics Industry: Aoun receives CEO of Chinese company ELINC

ALGIERS — The Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, Ali Aoun, received on Tuesday in Algiers the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Chinese company ELINC, Li Li Gong, with whom he discussed ways to develop bilateral cooperation in the industrial sector, with a focus on electronic industries, the ministry said in a statement.

This meeting was held at the ministry's headquarters, in the presence of a high-level delegation accompanying the CEO of ELINC, a subsidiary of the CEC Group that specializes in electronic industries and electronic protection systems, the same source said.

During this meeting, Aoun was given a detailed overview of the Chinese company, which has been operating in Algeria for over 20 years, and discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the industrial sector, particularly in basic electronic industries and communication technologies.

Following the presentation, “the minister commended ELINC's position, its mastery of modern technologies, and its active contribution to the development of these fields in Algeria,” the statement said.

The minister also called for expanding the company's activities in Algeria and to progress towards manufacturing “everything the Algerian market needs” in the electronic field, in addition to establishing industrial partnerships according to the win-win principle.[/ecr]
