During a press conference on the occasion of the Exhibition's closing, Yacini said, that this edition, which took place over three days at Oran’s Convention Center "Ahmed Benahmed", recorded the participation of more than 22,000 operators, including representatives of 217 companies from 54 countries, in addition to 16,000 visitors, most of whom were professionals active in industrial and service fields.

Many of them concluded cooperation agreements, partnerships, and commercial deals, according to the same source, noting that the Sonatrach group concluded four agreements with Algerian and foreign operators.

Yacini highlighted the "resounding success of this 12th NAPEC, compared to previous ones," emphasizing that this success was evident in the increased number of exhibitors, as well as the number of visitors, which increased by about 4,000 compared to last year.

He further explained that this success is mostly due to the interest shown by major energy companies in this sector in Algeria, following amendments to the Hydrocarbon Law and fiscal and non-fiscal initiatives granted to foreign investors wishing to venture into this field in Algeria.[/ecr]
