The meeting was held on Wednesday at the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, at the request of Sarra Zaafrani Zenzri, in the presence of the Tunisian Ambassador to Algeria, Ramdhane El Fayedh, and central executives from both ministries, added the same source.
In this respect, the two parties examined ways and means to strengthen partnership and bilateral cooperation in the field of public works and basic infrastructure, through the implementation of major infrastructure development projects and the contribution to the optimization of transport and mobility.
The two ministers also emphasized the need to strengthen integration between the Algerian and Tunisian companies through the implementation of joint projects in road and highway construction, highlighting the experience acquired by national companies in infrastructure development, particularly railways and guided transport.
They also insisted on the need to strengthen joint cooperation in terms of “supporting training skills in the public works and infrastructure sector,” concluded the press release.
