At the Algerian Production Fair (FPA), running from December 19 until this Saturday at the Algiers Exhibition Palace, exhibiting producers noted how the strength of domestic production has allowed them to overtake foreign competitors in the local market.

Well-known local brands are showcased at various exhibition booths, complemented by a retail space on the esplanade.

Featured among these brands is Aigle, showcasing its diverse product line.

Established in 2002 in the Rouiba industrial district, the company commands 12% of the domestic market while exporting its excess production to African and European markets.

“Our products meet international standards, allowing us to export to multiple markets across Africa and Europe,” stated Ali Bouchenak, the brand's marketing manager.

For its part, Esquirol Production LLC, which was founded in 2016 in Hamadi (Boumerdes province), has developed an extensive product line. The company has expanded beyond domestic markets and now exports to multiple countries including France, Tunisia, Spain, Mauritania, and Libya.

“Our products compete with European products on their own territory,” said Chahrazed Ferhat, marketing manager, pointing to their competitive pricing and quality that resonates with consumers in these regions.

The National Enterprise for Detergents and Maintenance Products (ENAD), a subsidiary of Holding Algeria Chemical Specialties (ACS), has been seeing similar success in the domestic market with its leading product lines. The company has further diversified its portfolio to include floor and window cleaning solutions, along with disinfectants and hand sanitizing gels.

Drawing on more than 41 years of experience, Venus Laboratories is expanding its personal care product line, according to Nawel Benbournane, company representative.
