This meeting was attended by the Mission Delegate to the Presidency of the Republic, Ibrahim Sadouk, governors of several provinces of the Western part of the country, Director General of the Public Television Establishment (ENTV), Mohamed Baghali, the Interim President of the National Audio-visual Regulation Authority (ARAV), Amar Bendjedda, the Director General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency, Omar Rekkache, the president of the Algerian Council for Economic Renewal, Kamel Moula, as well as heads of public and private economic establishments, communication and advertising specialists, and economic experts.

This study day will review several important subjects particularly linked to the television’s link with its economic environment and its role in supporting State efforts in development and investment.

Several presentations will be given during this day, such as “the role of Algerian public television in supporting the country’s investment and development dynamics,” “public television, mirror and showcase of Algeria’s achievements” and “television, a distinguished platform for promoting national products.”

Experts will also address themes such as “mutual interdependence between economic enterprise and television” and “legal rules and ethics of the television advertising market.”
