Ramadan: Vigilance necessary to prevent market supply disruptions  

ALGIERS–President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who chaired a Council of Ministers meeting on Monday, emphasized the importance of vigilance to prevent attempts to disrupt market supply during the holy month of Ramadan.

Following a presentation on the measures taken in anticipation of Ramadan, the President underscored "the need for prudence and vigilance to thwart any attempt to disrupt market supply," according to the Council of Ministers' communiqué.

President Tebboune called for "strengthening and intensifying control systems and combating speculation through the most severe legal sanctions against any attempts at speculation," the statement said.[/ecr]
